Beginning in 2016, the Rescue Squad voted to create a new Member of the Year for those members who serve with Rescue 2, our substation that operates out of the Pinehill Fire Department and serves the western part of Hoke County. So beginning in 2016, the Rescue Member of the Year represents Rescue Base personnel and Rescue 2 represents Rescue 2 personnel.
